The Process

Watch the painting come to life

From the first brushstroke to the finished work — timelapse, staged animations, and behind-the-scenes footage of commissions in progress.

Character, captured quickly

Each portrait commission starts with reference photography and a conversation about what you're after — formal, characterful, or somewhere between. These videos show the process from blank canvas to finished oil.

Painted on location, in one session

Every marine and landscape commission starts on site wherever possible. These timelapses show how a painting comes together against the elements — wind, light, tide.

From first message to finished painting

01
Get in touch

WhatsApp or email. Tell me what you have in mind — a location, a person, an occasion. A rough brief is enough to start.

02
Reference & discussion

Send photos, describe the mood, pick a scale. For portraits I may ask to visit or arrange a photography session. For landscapes I'll visit the location.

03
Painted in oils

I work fast — most commissions are completed in days, not months. You'll see progress photographs. The painting is done when it's right, not when the deadline says so.

04
Framed & delivered

Framed in a bespoke frame, certified with a TOAT provenance token, crated and delivered worldwide. 0% payment plans available over up to 24 months.
