Painted en plein air in Mallorca in 2025, this A3 oil captures the warmth and solidity of the island’s historic fortifications, set against shifting light and passing figures. Created directly from life, the work balances architectural structure with loose, responsive brushwork developed on location.
After being painted, this piece was set aside for a collector and quietly forgotten about in the studio. It has since been rediscovered while preparing works for delivery and is now being released for the first time.
